Drizzy was thinking about his 2022 when he couldn’t help but give the fans a glimpse of the midsummer mishap.
Drake had a spectacular summer in 2022 because of the release of his unexpected Honestly, Nevermind album. Undoubtedly, he had a great deal of success with that. The Canadian artist, however, also found himself in some trouble with Swedish authorities during the warmer months.
Particularly, in July, following a wild night in Stockholm, he was taken into custody by the police on marijuana-related allegations. As HipHopDX points out, marijuana remains banned in Sweden. Drizzy’s crew adamantly refuted any allegations that he was being held by the authorities at the time.
A document from the Swedish National Police Board was supplied by the father of one child only a few days later. The document is titled “Information for Those Suspected of a Crime and Subsequently Detained.” His rights were also detailed, including the ability to “obtain the assistance of a defence attorney who under some circumstances can only be compensated by the state” and “know what you are suspected of and why you are being denied.”
Drake additionally had the right to “get food and rest as needed” while being detained. He also had the right to “accept the help of an interpreter during interrogations as needed.”
Although the incident was in the news all summer, it has since largely been forgotten. This is partly because the giant of the industry has released two new albums.

Unexpectedly, Drake showed up towards the end of 2022 with some illuminating video from the night of his arrest. The father of one posts a photo dump on his Instagram page in which he can be seen in a flashy orange sweatsuit walking approaching a Swedish police cruiser.
