Durkio can be heard spewing bars in the Chopsquad DJ-produced song about living on the streets.
Since releasing his album 7220 in the first half of 2022, Lil Durk has consistently made an appearance. He has recorded solo and collaborative singles with well-known musicians. He had previously worked with Doodie Lo on the song “Did Shit To Me.” Later, we witnessed him collaborate with Cardi B and Kanye West on “Hot Shit.”
Recently, the native of Chicago has resumed working alone over a rhythm created by Chopsquad DJ. In his most recent song, “Hanging With Wolves,” he discusses the difficulties of leading a life on the streets.
Durk flexes in the opening lines of the song, saying, “They in my business, they tryna treat me like a nuisance, they tryna turn me down / You know I’m different, I’m walking around with my skinnies, I’m Saint Laurent down.”
The “Laugh Now, Cry Later” hitmaker continues to rap, “Come to the ‘Raq with a rack, you think I’m theatrical, you n*ggas get shot down / Saying ‘he stable,’ that n*gga had gone off the table, so we had to calm down.”
According to Yahoo, Durkio is presently putting the finishing touches on a follow-up to Only The Family’s Loyal Bros compilation album. At the moment, information on that is scant. However, let’s hope that this new single is just the beginning of many more to come from the group.
